Something with crossing alerts would be cool. And something that kept track of how many points the 50 is above/below the price at any given moment. And then it could compile that data historically to give an average.

TradingView has that option. I get notifications when the candle closes above/below the 50 SMA in either direction on the 30m chart. You can add as many alerts as you want.
