I don't make too many small cap long trades these days.
Only trade when the market is higher.
Look for stocks that I think will go up short term with a 10% stop loss. Take profits on the way up.
That said.

I do miss the good times when you could buy calls and hold day after day and make 1000% on a three day run lol.

Ever think about shorting the housing market ? Look at DVR . Let me know what you think . Up 88% in the last month . Had highs of 500+ couple years ago.

I haven't heard you mention anything about position sizing.
How much of your trading portfolio do you typically put in a short term trade? Do you have a rule of thumb or algorithm?
