They control BTC as a risk asset imo. Its moves so close with the market nowadays. Are they even able to decouple?

Success? Dont know; partially dont care. Soon: No. Depends on on how well it is received and what happens with devs/Eth moving forward.

Merge works, but it’s slow.
ETH advances and becomes bedrock crypto for Web3.
Probably see $5,000 for ETH by the end of 2023.
BTC stays between $20,000 - $30,000. Might dwindle after a few more years.
