If you only trade long. Then you have to be careful the next 2 months.
VIX could spike in October and if that happens most stocks will be dropping.
The best way and time to trade long will be on days when the market is higher.
Go in and buy the bounce then sell it for a profit.

This is excellent advice as usual Brian. Buying the bounce is the way to go. Long doesn't pay in this market. You have to change tack. I see the newbies have virtually disappeared - they wanted easy $. Not how it works. You have to learn the game before you play it.
