So why did the market tank on Powell's Jackson hole speech when they already knew exactly what he was going to say and it wasn't going to be good.

In my opinion he said - I will not pivot soon - despite crashing the stock market or the eonomy. And that was very different !

Powell speeches can go either way regardless of what he says. MM's already have a plan going in.

I think there’s something more to this shift than just market factors/the fed; I think the political situation and “big money” is trying to steer a narrative here. Interested to see how things open tomorrow, but crypto dropping tonight may be a clue 🤷
