Buying votes…I hate to say it but that’s all it is. Real change would be reform the terms and amounts of student lending so people can’t get in situations like this to begin with.

Brian you’re so close to the point here I love it. Exactly. Why not? Because poor people are the foundation of the economy and it’s in the best interest of those exploiting the system/power to keep them poor.

MMT economics of fiat dictate that the central bank could fund the labor necessary to create housing for all. They wont do it as this would increase supply of housing, lower value of real estate and make the people in charge of government and corporations 'feel' poor.

Any word on this? Haven’t seen any comments about money going to foreign countries and war. But yeah wiping $10,000 dollars of student debt for those making less than $125,000 dollars is a problem 👍🏼
