I don't believe #ElonMusk ever intended to buy twitter. Not his style to over pay like that. He could get it in the $20's in the future. Just another opportunity to get publicity and make some fast Billions.

I'm surer #ElonMusk made Billions off trading twitter. He started buying in low $30,000's then Most likely dumped most of those shares for a big profit.

My thought process is, he got to sold the top of Tesla, selling $8B of shares above 1,100$/share in the process of this “fake” acquisition

This is assuming he wins the legal case not to pay the 44 billion or he negotiates a favorable settlement why would twitter take less than 10 Billion for the damage he has done to the stock and company with his antics? The merger agreement doesn’t really signal 3D chess.
