When someone sells a soda at a NYC food truck for $1.00 and down the block the same soda is $4.00.

The price one pays for believing they’re ‘above’ ordering from a food truck.
Sadly, this is as close to “taxing the rich” as it gets, in some parts.

And one guy sells 4 and has revenue of $4 and expenses x 4. The other guy sells 1 and has the same revenue and only 1/4 the expenses.

Capitalism also is people buying the $1 soda and not the $4 one, leading to the $4 guy to lower his price to competitive levels to remain in business.
