In this case today what happened is the Nasdaq was underperforming and that is always a bad signal.
Turns out once again that was the signal for the upcoming sell off.
Once the s&p breaks below the s&p that a sell/short signal and that trade worked.

The system is now flashing a sell signal, but we are close to S&P support at 3800. Do we wait to see if that holds before considering shorts?

Are u following the system or technical support and resistance levels. Usually best to pick one and stick with it. Just my opinion
