It depends on if you’re trading stocks or investing for the future. It’s okay to add to a position if you plan on investing in it for decades... not so if you’re trading a stock short term

Agreed. If you're planning on holding long term, it's a nice time to average down especially if you're fairly new in it. I've been holding my AAPL since I think 2015ish? My CB is about $23/sh after all those years of averaging down and with splits...

Small stock absolutely not. If I don't get in dirt cheap and anticipate the proper computer execution I will exit the trade because I know the market makers DO NOT care about my position. The major market, I have pt limit stop bc I know price action is far more trend-oriented.
