Other than trading 3 x short ETFs like $SPXU, $SQQQ, etc, in your view is trading short options on individual stocks the best approach to making gains in a bear market? Or is it still day trading small caps? Or another approach?

I’d say it all depends on your risk management. Options are very tricky and need a lot of monitoring. If you can’t be at your screen all day long or at least to manage your positions. Things can go south real quick
