So for example let's say you bought 10,000 shares of a $1.00 stock. That's 10,000 shares that would be hard to buy and hard to sell in pieces. As there are spreads etc that make it hard to buy much and small bids that will drop if you try to sell too much.

With real day trading. It's not just about you and your shares. You are just only one trader of many. Under normal circumstances. A light trading small stock of let's say trading a few 100,000 shares in volume. You would be lucky to get just $10,000 in and out with a profit.
