Unfortunately when I started trading in 1991.
There was no internet. I had to call a broker to make trades. I had to wait to get one and never knew if I got filled until 1/2 hour later.
I got my stock quotes over the phone.

I remember as a kid my grandpa traded that way. He either got a weekly or monthly folder on stock prices and info.

I remember calling Schwab years ago to do just that in the 90s. I can only imagine how it was 30 years before then.
