I don't know what's worse psychologically.
Missing a big winning trade or making a small losing trade?
Personally I think it's easier to handle making a losing trade psychologically.

I agree. Especially because perfect setups don’t come along every day.
Well in a way missing the big winner cost you more money than making a small loser
Losing a small trade definitely is 100% worse at least missing out on a big trade your conviction and thought process was spot on
At that point I get excited for the next one. If years of day trading has taught me anything it's that there is always a next one. FOMO who? Just lots of free $! :)

Been nervous to buy and missed several big runners....it sucks...but losing sucks more :)
Agree, at least you were in the game and got out fast when the trade didn’t go your way. Missing a big trade would be more painful.
Yes I’ve missed SO many big plays that its led me to jump into the wrong plays prematurely. So then i lose and miss 🙁
In my former days of playing poker, I've had big money snatched out from my hands on a gut check river, so if I miss a big trade, who cares, there's another one coming shortly. If i take a small loss and it was the wrong move, who cares, I'll be better next time.
