A day trade could turn into a swing trade if the stock looks really good and is in a slow uptrend and you don't want to sell it yet because it's going even higher but that's very rare. 99% of day trades are to be sold within 24 hours.

Could mean hors.
Even next day within 24 hours from the trade.
All depends on what the stock is doing.
