Interesting how the VIX predicts market moves in advance be the s&p moves.
I stopped using this tool after it became distorted but I'm back to using it again.

The vix index is lower than in early Dec.
That's bearish for the market longer term.
Means traders aren't taking this drop seriously and the Vix has more to go.
