If the market breaks out of the top of the trading range that's bullish. That means overriding the system for a drop is not the move anymore.

I think today today is a very pivotal day. Not only for the system, but from an options chain and market dynamics, as well. If we get above range today, I think they probably run it and collect the historic retail put skew if we gap up, sell-off if we gap down. I’m 50/50.
Is it typical for a move over a tough trading range to happen after hours/premarket?
