All these losing trades I'm hearing about have one thing in common.
They were held too long.
If there is ever a lesson to learn from all these stocks dropping like $DKNG etc.
KNOW WHEN TO SELL
Never allow all you profits to be lost back or worse to take a big loss on a trade.

OR get too greedy like I did on QNGY. Bought in the 3.90’s it ran to like 5.20 then knifed. I didn’t put a stop in quick enough and before I knew it I was below my original entry. It climbed then held above VWAP towards the end of day then absolutely took off post market.

Market order in market order out. Be ready. Nobody ever went broke taking profits.
I bought some DKNG for a bounce trade, if we get one. If it doesn’t work out I’ll sell… but overall at what point do we start buying some of these beaten down destroyed names for long term future investment and growth?

You can never time the bottom of the market perfectly . Of course there is still some obvious correction left . If your buying “long term “ now would be a great time to enter of course. Start small and build your way in .

I'm so glad I found your account as a newer trader. SO much knowledge and I thank you for sharing. Given this topic - I find myself in this a lot. Obv day trading isn't for f/t workers...what would you recommend? How does a person that works full time ever make it in the market?

Yeah draftking hurt my position. I dropped 15% as thought I’d bought in low. Glad I sold now!!
