So first thing is you have to know your trade What's your objective? Have you done your DD? Do you know volume, support and resistance levels, charts, historic charts, What the market is doing at that time? Expectation (What's your price target?) of what the stock can do. ETC

What do you look at when planning an exit on a stock that has spiked. I struggle with the difference between a pullback before the next leg up and a downward fall which keeps going.
I usually have a target either $ or %. I usually trade stocks I am familiar with as swings over days or weeks. Am not highly skilled in all aspects of TA but I know basic charts, volume, support and resistance. I have been watching your calls trying to learn more.
