February and March 2014, Russia invaded and subsequently annexed the Crimean Peninsula from Ukraine. This event took place in the aftermath of the Revolution of Dignity and is part of the wider Russo-Ukrainian conflict. Putin envaded Crimean during the Soci Olympics 2014.

Russia and China won’t attack Ukraine and Taiwan until after the Olympics.

China sees this and that the US doesn’t do anything. Then they take Taiwan.
