No, That would be still be considered one round trip. You still bought and sold the same stock in the same day.

Gm Brian. If you purchased 1000 shares of a stock at once and later in the day you decided to sell 999 shares this wouldn’t count as a round trip. Correct ? Is this a decent way to get around the 3 day trade weekly limit?
