Have real estate both where I live/rental that I think will go down if interest rates go higher I don't think it will drop as much as stock market and it's not liquid and long term investment. Have gold but not a great investment but maybe better than cash? Bonds I wouldn't touch

My whole idea behind where to park my cash is risk off for the short term. Not necessarily going to go up but also won’t tank. Protecting the capital for another day in the sun.

Google "I-Bonds Treasury Direct", 7.12% from now until May then recalculates the inflation-based interest rate for the next 6 months. Min 1 year hold time.
