Understanding the value of news on a stock is an art.
It could have an effect on the value of the company and
in return justifying and increase in the price to fill in its market cap.
Also If a certain type of news has been moving stocks recently that's a plus if not a minus.

How long did it take you to get good at discerning which types of “good news” really move a stock vs not doing anything? Or is it just a matter of constantly checking in on the volume after any potentially meaningful news?
