You are perfectly right.
In this day and age it would be so simple one day settlement. But they won't do it.
Just another way they want to put new traders at a disadvantage and rip them off.
So many ways they use.

Thus is the most annoying thing is this cash sweep settlement business. Of course, funds transferred from bank to brokerage settle so fast your head spins but not the other way around!

I trade each day with half my account, so that I don't miss out on trades. Unfortunately this restricts my profit margin on good trades 😕
