Scalping long is when you're trying to make quick money off a small stock price gain during the day. So you want a hot stock and get out fast.
Swing is when you are trying to buy a stock that's at the bottom of it's 10 day up trend and you want to sell it when it gets to the top.

How do we know certain stock is good for scalping and other is good for swinging?
