This trade is what kills off 1/2 of the day traders. They fall for the Pump and Dump. They jump in at the highs at the open thinking the stock is going to keep flying. They can't see that volume has spiked. They chase and hold. Vulnerable now to big losses.

$GRVI Just a little day trading lesson. It had a small float going for it. But you have the spike on heavy volume at the open. Then a double top. So this is not a stock I would chase.

Hi, what is the easiest and cheapest way for me to check and track the volume please? Is there a website that keeps up to date for free, or is there an app? Also what is the best way to monitor volume, when no expense spared please?

Agree 100%, great lesson. I learned the hard way numerous times when I started, holding too long, that is the hardest part of day trading I had to overcome, being able to let go, and fast during a dump.
