I know the answer, but I need your help, a young investor asked me this question, “what makes a stock go up?” Simple question right? But could have a dozen answers. I told her, earnings and volume.

Stocks can go up for many reasons, Like fundamentals, Earnings etc.
But they always go higher because a lot more people are buying than selling
