But when I go food shopping I see food prices up 25%-50% this year. Then I go stop for Gas and that's up over 50% from last year. Natural Gas to heat my home is up over 100%.

That's because food and fuel are not included in the inflation reports. But the irony is that everything we need to survive and function is in fact rising due to inflation. Go figure.
