Why would I ever want to work for the industry and have them use me like a pawn and profit off me. Lose my freedom and make less money than I'm making now?

I've been offered many jobs working in the trading industry. But I refused everyone. I refused to sell out.
The industry doesn't even bother me anymore because they know it's a waste of their time.
I have no desire to change what I'm doing and they would never pay me enough.
