Billionaires are not stupid.
They use their influence to make sure that what ever government is in control that they get over and pay very little to no tax.
They like to sound like they are benevolent but at the end of the day it's all about them making more money.

You don’t get to be mega rich by being compassionate and nice. You may become so once there but on the way they stamp on anyone who gets in the way

Correct, it's almost like the billionaires and the government are so close that they are indistinguishable. Kinda like the government owning the means of production.
