If you see a stock trading mild volume with 100 shares on the bid at $3.00 and 20,000 shares on the ask at $3.10.
If that's a real trade.
That's a really bad set up.
That means someone has to buy those 20,000 shares first before the stock can go higher.

Sometimes it's just a set wall, temporary. To keep price at that point. To wait for buyers to step up, then that block order gets released, and voila, price jumps.
