Few things to keep in mind when day trading small stocks these days.
1) Is the stock being manipulated higher only by what Benzinga says "we see no justification?"
2) Is it being manipulate by recent news?
3) Is it riding a another stock that's blowing up coattails?

Sometimes it's just a technical breakpoint for the price, when that break is hit, autoorders trigger, resulting in technical traders buying. Often times these moves don't have a followup. Resulting in a small pump without persistent volume. And dump afterwards.
