A Cash account is just account with no margin. You can only trade what you have available that day. The money clears again to be used every 2 days after you sell. You can never get restricted and unlikely trade over your head. I think it's better for new traders.

Thr 35+years I only used margin thr Dec 1999, then switched to cash ever since. My accts at Schwab since 1985, TD since "99 and Lightspeed from 2011 make funds 💯 available upon execution of sale. Webull makes me wait 2 days only for options.
