I used to do that and it really hurts. that is where we need to watch the market and time the dips.. sell and then as long as you can rebuy at the same price you sold you wont miss out on your plan. but for example if the top is 1$ and you can time the dip. and re enter at .75

Always good to sell that 1/3 or 1/2 if you are unsure and gamble with the rest if you’re willing to lose it
