Another topic for discussions that's really important.
Stop Losses. When too use them? How much? 10%? More?Less? What about on Volatile Day Trades? Swings?Long Term? Big Caps?
Hard Stops?or Mental Stops? Trailing Stops etc?

Hard stops don’t seem to be the best when volume is light. End up losing more than your stop at times.
Day trade 7%, swing trade no stop loss, avg down 1 or 2 bullets . Large caps no stop loss , the stock always come back .

When swing positioning in certified growth companies, with good books low in the range. Don’t set stop loses. They the firms will flush it. You will tune in to find you sold 15% lower than opening price and now it’s 70% higher. Know what you own.
