If you jump into a stock because you think the news out was good and the stock goes down not up.
Then you got it wrong and you should cut your loss.
It's not a bout what you think. It's about what Wall Street does and Wall Street is shorting.
Most likely it's sell on the news.

Yep. Happened to me with $CMCM yesterday. It’s tough because sometimes its just a shakeout and I sell just before it explodes. But yesterday had to cut losses and believe i could make it up 🆙 elsewhere.

I've actually learned this the hard way. I traded on my own for a little while with no knowledge of what I was doing and no help. I thought just researching companies with upcoming news would suffice. Boy I was wrong.
