Depends on the trading style. Personally under 50m, I’ve noticed Brian considers low float under 10m and anything 20-50 more of a medium float. Anything over 100m is definitely a big float

I think what put anyone ahead of everybody would be a real time scanner. Scanning for unusual volume. I don't know, i could be wrong. Being the one getting info first would put you miles ahead of everyone except of course - >wall street.
