So here's a good question for my Friends. Stock Trading or Options. Which one would you recommend to a new trader to pursue who wants to learn to become profitable?

I find as a new trader that trading and stocks is so much easier to understand vs options.

I would say get a feel for the markets then try options. Buy far dated out contracts/try to stick with strong growth stocks or something with REAL catalyst. Get comfortable selling when in profit on pops since thats when IV spikes.

Upward volatility pays more than riding down then up. Only put what you are willing to lose in option plays, even if you think its the most solid setup

I would recommend a new trader just invest long term to get experience. I wouldn’t trade right away. Much less do options. But I wouldn’t hesitate to learn about options if that’s something that piques their interest.
