Even if you own a stock that you still like during the next market correction. You can always sell it then let it drop and then buy it back cheaper.
Better then riding with it down lower.

I did this mistake and learned my lesson. No holding anymore. Cut your losses short is the strategy now.

Market timing requires getting two decisions right. The exit. And the re entry. Not always that easy!

It requires experience! Its require daily if not hourly follow up! If someone serious about making money, you cant just buy stocks , forget about it or expect it rising indefinitely!

I'm reading this book, "Wall Street Stock Selector" by W.D. Gann. One of his top rules is placing a stop loss as soon as making a purchase. I've held too many way too long. A few times I got a lucky "Hail Mary" reversal.
