This happens some times when the market is in a trading range with no direction. You get false signals.
A warning yesterday (False Negative) to go to cash and then a buy signal today.
So you saved some $ yesterday then missed some today.
Part of trading. Happens sometimes.

When the 10 and 50 MA cross how far do they have to separate before we interpret it as a buy/sell signal? Just yesterday it gave a sell signal and then we had a bull day. There are times where the lines cross multiple times over consecutive days.
