$WLL I tried to buy 1000 shares this stock for $14.80 on Ameritrade and they told me I could not. Please explain why it traded millions of shares and I couldn't buy it?

Good question, most likely their not doing great work for you. I had a similar thing happen with a discount brokerage Quick & Reilly so I complained and they comped me. Then I found a better broker.
