I love the Ameritrade platform unfortunately the company service is so unreliable. To the point where it's not even usable for day trading. IB now stands alone.

i just found out last week because of all the problems i have that they also have thinkorswim.com that you can log into and set up your level 2 and SMA lines,, its not as good but definitely works in a pinch as well as their cell phone app..

They told me that since the are updating TOS platform that they won't have more than one site down at a time so thinkorswim.com is more reliable but not as advanced as TOS

Yes, while I was in UTSI, the TD Ameritrade platform was not responding, both laptop and phone. Was stuck on 1.92 for about 10 minutes and missed my chance to sell in the 2's. Might need to try IB
