Good question. Yes you actually do want to get in early on a stock that's about to be pumped higher that's only up 10%-15% at the moment. That actually a good trade to take. What you don't want to do is chase a stock that's already blew up over 100%. There's a lot more risk then.

Brian, I have a question, by the time I follow you the stock is usually 10-15% up and hence more risky...how do you determine premarket if the volume is good enough, what is your barometer to judge if it is still good buy? I feel I might end up chasing and let most go?

I'd would actually like to do both.. I've been long with Amazon and Apple for a few years now but the higher risk (micro, smalls) are kicking my ass a bit. I'm in too late.. I'm trying to find & study the tickers before they blow up (or I jump, chase and get crushed lol)
