Also reading industry shorting/Naked shorting, support/resistance levels.
If the industry decides to go heavy short the stock your long in.
You lose. So know the signs and get out the stock fast.

You think the stock should be going higher. It's not. That's the first sign something is wrong. You see big sell orders coming in on the ask looking to get out. They just keep coming. With a small float stock means someone is selling shares they don't own.
