If I buy a stock like $KLXE for the long term because I want to buy and hold some small oil stocks because I feel they just made a Major bottom. Then I will hold it and not trade it until I make enough money and the long term stock chart is over bought.

Their bonds are trading at 38 cents on the dollar, so if you think there's a "long-term" here, you're better off buying those.
The merger will help, but they'll probably file for bankruptcy next year.
