The average person could have down even better with their 401K than hedge fund manager Bill Ackman making just 2 transfers.
First when you see the Virus is coming to U.S in Feb you transfer 100% from you stock account to money market.
@ S&P 2200 you go from MM back to S&P fund.

Average, not even the best no load mutual funds are up 27% since April. Ackman is a charlatan. He goes on CNBC, Puts on a show, causes the market to crash, buys at the low and wants us to think he is a great investor because his heavily loaded hedge fund is up a mere 20%?

But as a Average Joe you go right from stock to Money Market. 100% trades quick and easy. Then back again after the crash. Who cares if you catch the bottom
Funds can't do what the average person can do.
They are stuck.
You can switch from stock funds to money market funds or bond funds. Or you can trade ETFs and move into cash. Find funds with good management and low expences and make sure they are self directed.
