Do you always rely on 15 min open range break out if you Day trade ? Or do you buy straight out on open or wait a couple of minutes ?

I know a lot of traders use that technique opening break out.
But the industry know that and many times they fake traders out with that. I try to buy as soon as I can if I feel the stock is about to soar. But if I miss it and like the stock I might wait for it to fall. Depends?
