Can someone tell me why the market was down that much at the open. Is this some Game that the Big boys find funny? And VERY profitable.

With the extended rally, big boys were waiting for the profit taking. They have to justify the selling , so they always wait for some bad news. Now they get to enjoy their January Bonuses. All is well.
