It’s a bedrock principle of our constitutional system that federal prosecutors should not recklessly interfere with the operation of state courts and their administration of justice. This matter could have been handled by the Judicial Conduct Commission.

You are completely incompetent, otherwise Andrew Lelling wouldn't have to do YOUR job. Shame on you. Your hate for our president has totally screwed up your judgement. Thank God he has the moral compass to do the right thing, enforce our nations laws and back our law enforcement.
-
It’s called upholding the law not reinterpreting it. Let’s hope she’s next.

That's right Maura stick up for the drug dealer & bum that's been deported twice. When will she get her head out of her ass. You claim to be fighting drugs on one hand & letting drug dealers run free on the other. It's just another reason why I say We Need a Better A/G. W.N.B.A/G

Read what Maura wrote. She was not defending the immigrant. She is talking about how unnecessarily aggressive this judge handled the legal aspects of this case. She said it could have legally been handled by in state with no Federal interferrance.
-
Then why hasn't it been? This occurred over three weeks ago, she had more than enough time to deal with it. Or this: “ICE is gonna get him?” she asks the defendant’s attorney before turning off the court recorder, which is a violation of MA court rules.

The judge asks the court recording be stopped and a court employee swipes the person out the back door!!!! That's an affront to every single person in the judicial system!! You just lost the respect of every law abiding citizen! Your opinion is based on emotion and not as the AG.

You’ve got to be kidding... Shelley Joseph aided and abetted an illegal alien. From the bench! That’s an attack on our state...

I respectfully disagree. As Lelling stated “It is about the rule of law...”. No one is above the law, that includes a Judge. As chief law enforcement officer of the commonwealth you should be alarmed by the actions of Judge Joseph and not those of Lelling.

No ma'am, the US Attorney presented "evidence" of crimes committed to a Grand Jury and the Grand Jury issued indictments, I would think that you would understand this. What is surprising is that she would think herself above the law!

Resign your position
@MassAGO . You attack law abiding citizens every day. Your law degree should be invalidated. -
Clearly you did not read the whole statement
-
VP... clearly you are biased.

There is recorded evidence of their federal crimes. Are you suggesting the state judge & court officer are above the law? You know that federal laws Trump state laws... right? Rule of law ... equal justice under the law. Don't flagrantly break fed laws & this won't happen.
-
Besides that... why is our state judicial system aiding, abetting and harboring criminals? Isn't that the exact opposite of what they're supposed to do? Good grief Maura, is your new motto... Aid & Abet the Criminals Prosecute the Law Abiding Oh wait... you already do.

Is it a joke? Outrage at the notion of holding a judge accountable for violating federal law? What kind of a judge orders "turn the microphone off", definitely "the rule of law" was about to happen!
-
Oh buff...Judges "turn the microphone off" all the time. It was her judicial discretion. If I were her, I would have done the same thing! I can't help but wonder if this happened because this judge was a women who was showing some empathy.
-
If you were trying to turn this into a gender issue, you just did your gender no favors by revealing yourself to be a wee bit intellectually challenged.
