The top 2 Fortnite streams on YT Gaming right now are streaming other people’s content.. how is this a thing? @TeamYouTube it isolates and pushes away streamers who are making their own content & not just recycling someone else’s hard work.

Thank you for noticing this, really been waiting for someone with a voice to bring this to their attention. On pubg right now, someone is restreamkng shrouds content with 2k people watching. Can’t get recommended competing against that. Views and subs down since

I’m sure every other stream doesn’t appreciate the stolen content being recommended. YouTube gave
@ProHenis a stike for playing copyright material, but not these channels who stream stolen content 24/7? Only difference is the auto claim...pic.twitter.com/UxJ04qV3bY

Stolen content is a problem and we released tools that empower the Creators who own the content to take it down; there’s a lot more work still to do here.

I think competition is always healthy. But I also think that these channels don't even belong in the same category as live streamers. These are compilation videos, not live gaming. Twitch has a category for "Always on" which is how these channels should be classified. {1/2)

These are not Fortnite or PUBG live streams, they are really long VoDs in a rerun format. Just as a live fortnite/PUBG stream shouldnt be competing with a lofi hiphop stream it shouldnt be competing with clickbait content that isnt an interactive live stream. {2/2}
